“

Curiosity is where every good system begins.

I'm Jinobin S U, a B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate with focused training in Embedded C and microcontroller programming. I enjoy understanding how hardware and software work together — from an input signal to a real-world response.

My approach is simple: understand the problem, break it into logic, connect the components and test until the system makes sense.

Electric Vehicle Wireless Charging Station

A prototype concept exploring wireless energy transfer for electric vehicle charging through transmitter and receiver coils.

Project overview

This project explores the principle of inductive wireless power transfer for an electric vehicle charging application. Instead of relying on a direct cable connection between the power source and the vehicle, the concept uses a transmitter coil and a receiver coil to transfer energy across a small air gap.

Working concept

The described prototype power path steps down the 230V AC input to 12V AC, then uses a rectifier stage to convert AC into DC. The transmitter side creates the changing magnetic field, and the receiver coil picks up the transferred energy. The received output is used as the charging-side supply in the prototype concept.

Key areas explored

  • AC voltage step-down and rectification
  • Transmitter and receiver coil arrangement
  • Electromagnetic induction and wireless power transfer
  • Basic power-conversion stages for an EV charging use case

The explanation above describes the project concept and the documented prototype flow; no unverified efficiency or charging-performance figures are claimed.

C PROGRAMMING / DATA MANAGEMENT

C Language Address Book

A menu-driven C application focused on maintaining contact records and practising structured programming.

Project overview

The Address Book project is a C-language application designed around the organisation of contact information. It demonstrates how a simple console-based program can collect, store and manage records through a menu-driven flow.

Program flow

The user interacts with the application through menu options. Contact details are represented as structured records, and the program logic is organised into focused operations so that contact-management tasks can be handled clearly.

Concepts practised

  • C programming fundamentals and functions
  • Structures for organising contact information
  • Menu-driven program flow and conditional logic
  • File handling concepts for persistent records
  • Searching and maintaining organised data

This description stays at the level supported by the project summary and does not claim specific features or libraries that have not been confirmed.

PIC Based Car Black Box

An embedded-system project exploring vehicle event monitoring using a PIC microcontroller.

Project overview

The PIC-based Car Black Box project applies microcontroller concepts to an automotive monitoring scenario. The idea is to use an embedded controller to receive input signals, process the information and present relevant event information through an output interface.

System focus

The project provided practical exposure to PIC microcontroller-based development, embedded C logic and interfacing between the controller and external hardware. It connects programming fundamentals with a real-world vehicle application theme.

Concepts explored

  • PIC microcontroller fundamentals
  • Embedded C program structure
  • Input and output interfacing
  • Event-oriented monitoring logic
  • Testing the interaction between firmware and hardware

Detailed sensor models, event thresholds and hardware specifications were not supplied, so they are intentionally not added here.
